Associate of The Month - Leanne Posthumus (Bloem) Aug 11

Associate nominated for secretary of the month (Bloemfontein)

One of our outstanding associates Leanne Posthumus is a blessing to Central University of Technology, Fee State (CUT). During the annual Prestige Day in August 2011 she organised the event and coordinated the function in such a way that she was nominated for secretary of the month. It was the first time an honor like this was bestowed on a temporary employee. She was honored for all responsibilities starting from handling invitations, communication and travel arrangements for guest speakers, and arranging the certificates. According to her supervisor, Leanne is a pleasure to work with and made them proud. Leanne, thank you for your hard work, delegation and support, you make us proud

August 2011 - Azwimpheleli Bongwe (Amandelbult)

Azwimpheleli  Bongwe (known as Bongwe) is Project Manager of Caracle Creek International Consulting (CCIC),  Amandelbult project. He joined CCIC as a Junior Geologist in 2008 and was promoted to Project Manager Position in 2009. He holds Bachelor of Earth Sciences (Hons) in Mining and Environmental Geology from the University of Venda and Bachelor of Science (Hons) in Applied Geology from University of Stellenbosch. Bongwe is a Geologist with project management skills and demonstrated ability to plan gained from Anglo American Exploration Projects. His key responsibilities includes core and geotechnical logging, Borehole database management (QAQC), Core yard management, Supervising and training geological assistance (Express staff).

CCIC has been working on Anglo American Projects since 2007 and the focus has been to log, sample and geotechnical log boreholes drilled from surface to clear the backlog of the core.
